The outdoor area is very well organised, you order and pay using the app and instructions are provided. Staff are very helpful. We enjoyed the meal. I had the steak cooked on the volcanic stone. The only problem is that it keeps on cooking so the end of it was very well done! (and in response to the reply, I wasn't given a side plate! I should have asked for one)

Absolutely the best pub in Abingdon! Amazing facilities! Great outdoor garden with a view over the water. Indoors has been recently refurbed and is beautiful! The decor has clearly had a lot of thought, it’s very homely. We always get a very friendly welcome, food is fantastic with a great range to choose from. What we love is they’re dog friendly too so we can take our dog who always seems very relaxed there too! Anyone that’s considering going to a pub in Abingdon make this your top one to visit! We’ve been here many times, only just thought to review it! Small businesses need our help in this time!
myself and my wife ate here last night ( 12/08/20) beautiful food. Beautiful location beautiful table. Staff so friendly and helpful couldnt do enough. Just a lovely lovely night and meal. Next time I want do punting followed by meal. Please visit this place. Credit to John our waiter extremely kind and helpful!
Nice place especially inside. Portaloos look a bit tacky, pizza is a bit plain tasting for the price and also more of a flatbread (a 14 one)did have a hair in my dough which wasn’t ideal... Four stars because inside is nice but pizza was a bit of a let down
The food here is amazing. The view is perfect. The pub is clean and lovely. The serving staff work so hard and are very polite. It's the perfect pub. Except that the management doesn't seem to think that they should maybe have 2 waiters on instead of 1. They work so hard and the wait is still long, and it's not their fault. So perfect staff except for managers that dont understand they need to hire more staff.
