Disappointing French Cuisine I was excited to have dinner at this fabulous \fine dining\ restaurant so I decided to splurge and celebrate democracy with a friend. Secondly, the chef has high accolades and since my friend loves French food (I do too) and seafood, I decided to compromise. I looked at the menu and there was just one (1) only vegetarian dish and it was an Asian dish (for a French restaurant!). It was a huge meal (unlike a French portion) with lots of vegetable (which I loved, but had no taste) and LOTS of SUGAR! The waiter noticed that my meal was still a full bowl (he was terrific!) and took it to the Chef to fix (apparently the chef just added more vegetables to disguise the already sugary liquid which did not solve the issue. Sad to say that a fine dining restaurant could not offer better creative options for a vegetarian meal. Plus, I didn't sleep well because sugar keeps me up. A word of advise: more people are becoming vegetarians and it is truly disappointing that restaurants are not catching on. I am a very good cook and when I go out, I am looking for a better cook/chef than myself.

Perfection! Top notch service, top notch food, beautiful setting. The Catfish Eggs Benedict was excellent. 5️Bloody Mary’s. It was my husbands 60th (which was on the Open Table Reservation) the waiter brought a piece of bread pudding with a candle-so thoughtful and delicious. My husband loves cheesecake, and really likes Key Lime Pie, they offered a Key Lime Cheesecake. So we had to try it. It was so also delicious. We left in a food coma.
Made a reservation here for two and I enjoyed my entire experience. Staff were pleasant and service was great. Food was amazing! I had the smothered catfish and my boyfriend had the seafood linguine. Both were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. The dressing for the mixed green salad was also delicious, if you like honey mustard dressing it was similar to that. Would definitely come back to try some other dishes.
Very courteous and attentive staff. Dress was casual to upscale. Ambiance was cozy. Covid protocols adhered to as every other table was empty to ensure distancing. Alcoholic beverages were well mixed. Gumbo\\Crab bisque were outstanding. Crab cakes were only fair IMO. Chargrilled oysters were tasty. Steak St Charles and New Orleans Smothered Catfish was amazing, and portions were large. Highly recommend.
Great food, good location. Service is top notch. All the food we ordered was delicious, absolutely no complaints. Service was very professional and fast. AC works great on a 95 day!!!
