Went in today close to closing to be seen for chest pain, etc. Was mostly convinced it was just anxiety but wanted reassurance I have denied myself in the past. Dr. Peniston and all nursing staff were incredibly kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, and ran all the testing I would have wanted without me even asking. I was in and out very quickly but also didn’t feel that they rushed through the exam. Very impressed!

The doctor I saw last night, Dr. Parrish-Valdez, was great. She was very kind, attentive, thorough, and sympathetic. I feel like I had 100% of her time and attention. She prescribed the medication I needed, and she went above and beyond, offering additional supplies to take home. My wait time was reasonable. The lobby has an electronic board that tracks and displays approximate patient wait times. I found that very helpful. The receptionist staff were also very kind, helpful, and efficient. So were the nurses/CNAs who assisted me. Visiting Urgent Care is not always a fun experience, but the staff last night made it tolerable and comfortable. Thank you for all you are doing!

My son fell and clocked his chin on the stairs, we thought he would need stitches! Called around frantically on a Sunday at 3:30pm and they were one of the few places open until 4pm. My wife got a hold of the receptionist, who relayed back to the care team our situation, and they snuck us in right before close! Saved us the headache of heading downtown and battling an ER trip! They walked us straight back to a patient room and had us treated and out the door in less than 30mins. Katie, the nurse practitioner, was excellent with our son, explaining cares to be provided, and follow up cares if needed. Have read some other 1 reviews and can say personally that none of the aforementioned problems were anything we experienced. Reception was great and helpful, nursing staff was quick and attentive, and the care provider Katie was knowledgeable and provided excellent care. Have also used they imaging dept, Iowa radiology' and have also had good care there as well. Maybe things have changed, but would definitely recommend to friends, family, and we will be returning ourselves in the future.

As a Nurse and a Clinical Quality Consultant, this was one of the WORST experiences I have ever been involved in. Kathleen, ARNP should be ashamed of the way she treats patients. I would also caution against telling patients that you can't really smell because \you had COVID and your sniffer isn't back yet.\ You are working with an at risk population. I can't begin to express how unimpressed and utterly disappointed with this interaction I am. Not hard to see why they have 3 stars. This clinic seems to run on a lack of empathy, professionalism and patient care.

Poor service felt very unwelcome, first thing we were asked “ why are you here” and made a big deal why our primary dr would send us here because they weren’t in the same system and couldnt share files instead of attending my husband who had been in a car accident. Never coming to this urgent care again. Lack empathy.
