No reservations so was told could be an hour wait. So went to bar, decided to order there. Then told another hour but they expedited order because we have up seats in dining area, still almost an hour and a half, to be served barely warm food. The bartender, Jourdan was awesome!!! She did her best to turn a bad experience into a better one. hour wait. D

My boyfriend and I dined here for our first time experience at a Benihana’s. It was our Valentine’s date and we loved it! The food was so delicious. The server was amazing, and our chef was the best. We loved the drinks and the ambience. The only thing I would leave for others to take into consideration is that even if you make reservations, you will wait at least 30 minutes before being seated. Also, the food portions for the price are inadequate. You are barely left with anything to take home, as you would be at any other popular hibachi.
Benihana's has always been a favorite. But did you know this location is the one is movies? I totally promise I can't recall the one, but I've seen it recently. The decor here is unmistakable. I'm from the Bay Area California. That's includes San Francisco. As you may know, we have one China Town in SF, and one in Oakland. Those are only the two biggest ones. Well, we also have \Little Japans.\ [No disrespect to anyone Japanese. I humbly acknowledge your language has at least nine 'levels' and i can't speak one. So, I'm bowing so low I'm forehead is on the ground.] That said, our Benihana, before moving here to Vegas, was the gold standard. (Sigh.) I'm learning nothing is the gold standard compared to Vegas. This place puts some places to shame. Which gets me back to this location. It has bridges indoors. Japanese fish (we used to have them in our backyard. Our gardener was Japanese). Incredibly beautiful color schemes like dark cherry wood with purple, silk-covered lighting, and professional staff that walk with elegance and grace. Did I mention I went there for the third time last week. That means all this is happening in a pandemic. Okay, then, whoever runs that, my hat's off. Five stars for you easily. I'll look for some pictures and if I can, I'll find that movie and put up that picture too. [Don't forget, this is the Peachtree Ave location. You can reserve a table right from their Google Profile listing. Very cool.]
Our food was great but the wait was crazy. We made a reservation for 5pm but we were not seated until 7. Then the chef didn't start cooking until 745. The while table was family so we made the best of it. Our chef was very good and the food was excellent. So, if you don't mind an extremely long wait, try them out.
Hadn't been here in awhile felt like Saturday is full of short cuts. Soup was watered down took for every to get drinks got my dinner and sushi at the same time totally disappointed . NEVER GOING AGAIN ON SATURDAY
