A very Calm Airport, not busy often. I used this economy sized airport to travel back to Vienna after spending 2 days in Germany. I purchased a ticket through Adria airways the price was not so cheap but fair for the location where I was traveling from. Airport Employees were friendly, airport is fairly clean and well organized, it is just have limited shopping options which is logic for such airport. Generally speaking Paderborn airport is taking a 5 stars for serving locally, Regionally and sometimes Internationally flights despite limited size.

A small and clean airport with shops, cafes and all that you need. Rental cars offices are closing at 9 pm so is better to reserve in advance.

Problems to rent a car before 9.00 am and after 9.00 pm. All rental car offices are closed. No taxis available when I arrive close to 10.30 pm. 20 25 minutes waiting for one. Better book a taxi in advance. Quick control gates. Small airport with connections to road 1 and 33. Easy to travel. Good experience in general
