This is a small airport. it's one of my favorite airports. They're currently expanding it. This was the airport used during the Vietnam war by the United states. It is close to rayong and about an hour south of Pattaya, a huge entertainment area in Thailand.

Small lovely airport serving Pattaya from quite a few countries now. Last time I was here it was just a very tiny airport with one flight per day but now has greatly expanded. Staff are friendly and helpful and outlets are filling up. Food outlets are abundant and prices are acceptable.
