One of only four bridges in the world to have shops across its full span on both sides, very unique.

The Georgian splendor of Bath in the early September drizzle. A lovely place to spend an hour or so sitting, drinking and eating Thai food. A bit like having a ham sandwich and a pint of bitter in Bangkok in the sunshine. Probably...
Bath is a wonderful city, lots to see, plenty of entertainment and a great variety of restaurants, Raphaels is our favourite
Lovely historical town with lots of places to see and eat. This area is pretty and this bridge is amazing. You can actually visit the shops that are constructed on top of it.
Pulteney bridge is definitely one of the jewels in Bath's crown of English Georgian architecture. Best viewed from the the paved area above adjacent Parade Gardens the bridge itself is a spectacle in it's own right, but its perfect relationship with its river setting and the series of languid oval weirs that really makes it stand out. Located just five minutes walk from the Abbey and Roman Baths it is a must see for the visitor to Bath.
