Diverted to Belfast. Storm sent the plane there. I was supposed to arrive in Dublin. It was mayhem to get the coaches up to collect most folk. I hired a people carrier BMW to bring a few folk back to Dublin with me. I found Belfast airport to be most helpful, courteous and gracious during this weather emergency in the middle of the night.

Belfast Airport all staff very friendly and helpful good service overall. Some of the bars and restaurants a tad expensive. Security very organised could do with being bigger very crowded at peak periods. The Airport could do with making the terminal bigger as Well.

The security was through but very lovely, got through in about 10 minutes. Try go get there early if you want a seat as they are limited. Only downside is you have to pay a pound to smoke/vape which is a bit of a scam.

I have mix feelings about this airport. First time when I arrived there I asked for help find way to parking and worker totally ignored me other one asked what language I speak even if I was talking to him in English. Second time everything was perfect, I arrived when filling documents about covid was needed. I had paper printed already but some people who didn't had that need to wait for long. Some people asked me for help even if I am not worker of airport. Stuff gave me tablet and I help people as volunteer. I think you should give more people if situation like that happen.

All very straightforward at the moment. No queues and pleasant staff. Of course much of this is due to covid and less air travel but perhaps its the one positive.
