Visited Bodkins 2 days ago as my daughter asked me to crochet some beanie hats for some peg dolls. I had a real problem with the pattern that I downloaded so visited the shop to try to get an easier pattern. The owner was so helpful she sat down with me even crocheted a tiny hat to show me and then wrote down in 4 lines much easier instructions for me to follow. What a lovely thing to do. Thank you so much. The shop is small very well stocked and has a lovely atmosphere . I have been before and the shop can get very busy but I have always found the owner and the people that work there extremely helpful and friendly.

If you look lot different thing to do . When go to beautiful wool shop . Sandia and max are so very help . I love is little wool shop
no option to put zero stars as this is what this place deserves. the most unpleasant and rude staff I have ever encountered. the lady has zero people skills and maybe would do better in a job which doesn't involve speaking to the public. obviously would never return to this shop. best to stay away unless you enjoy being spoken to in a rude and patronising manner
