Hotel Dwarka is one legendary place for a unique type of dosae called Khali Dosae... Khali Dosae is a soft spongey porous dosae that is cooked without oil... its super delicious & very slightly sweeter ... its best paired with a coconut chutney & some alugadde (potato) palya... this dosae enters into the comfort food list of many of us... extremely satisfying ... they are also popular for their masale dosae, puri saagu, carrot halwa & filter kaapi.
Thr hotel is reminiscent of Old bangalore. Best place for khaali dosa, rawa wada and khara bath. The hotel staff is very courteous and they don't compromise on quality. It is one of the first darshini in bangalore to have strict covid arrangements in place. Hence feel safe to eat there .
The taste was quite average and the rush was just too much for the actual taste we had. Khali Dosa was good but I have had better Dosa's elsewhere. Don't step in on weekends, it's not worth the wait
Hi all.. for the first time I have visited hotel dwaraka. Amazing hotel. Awesome and delicious food... I tasted carrot halva and kali dosa. Kali dosa is special taste in this hotel... Carrot halwa was mouthwatering ... hey foodie people Please visit Hotel Dwaraka and taste the food.
I visited this hotel and had Khali Dose and Alu Palya.Alu palya was spoilt.Even Dosa was not soft as they used to be earlier.Quality has gone down heavily in recent times
The best place to have the kaalu dose and coffee in Basavanagudi area. Chintney served with dose is yumm! Bisibelebath and kharabath tasted really good . Visited this hotel in pandemic times. Precautions are kept in place. Tables have glass bifurcation. The wash basin is operated via foot. Although the hotel has taken all the precautions, people are not following the covid guidelines. please note- Hotel Is closed on Tuesday If you are in the locality, please do visit this place for having a dose and coffee !
A really old place in south Bangalore famous for their khali dosa. After speaking to some regular customers, the taste is still the same is what they claim. Hats off to the place for maintaining the same taste and quality. The place is completely packed in the mornings. The prices are really economical. The khali dosa was topped with butter and it was so so soft. The coconut chutney was extraordinary. Definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while.
