Super rustic and charming restaurant serving some of the best Norwegian food I have tried in Bergen. Definitely recommend, especially the pinnekjøtt croquettes!

Very nordic vibes with the style and super cozy restaurant. Plus food is very nice and traditional, we tried whale! Really nice service. Recommended!

They serve amazing local food, and all the waiters are there to give you advice on what to try. I highly recommend going there if you're ever in Bergen. The place is really cosy, and they got this amazing menu that let you try a bit of every dish.

This is DEFINITELY a place to go if you a visiting Norway. The interior is beautiful and the location is historically situated. We took the tapas of a variety of Norwegian specialities. We ate whale, reindeer, salmon, halibut, etc. The artichoke soup was probably the best, warming and comforting - that was 100% a 5*. The blonde waitress was really nice and professional. The brunette waitress wasn’t that attentive so we were often kept waiting and she could have presented the food a little better (orientation on the table and explaining the food before we asked). If the brunette was more “tuned in” then I’d give a 5*. Probably just a summer job so I don’t want it to put anyone off visiting here. Just a helpful reminder for waitresses to really observe their clientele. Finally the cheese selection- you get to taste the WORLD’s best cheese (no joke - it won the award in 2016) and it’s truly good. Of course you haven’t tasted half of Norway if you have been here but it’s a great start.
