I am on the east coast, but I purchase knives and tools from Hida online. I appreciate that they are curating a fine selection of japanese tools at affordable prices. And when I once received a damaged knife in the mail from them, they replaced it at no cost to me and in very rapid order. Top notch customer service!

Great first impression. Dropped off my TOPS bushknife to be sharpened. Staff was very friendly and I think I was quoted fairly for the attention the knife needs. Store had lots of goodies inside.I will update this review once I receive my knife.

Great place with lots of quality tools and hard to find items. Nice selection if bonsai scissors, wire, clippers, cutters, in addition to lots of regular gardening shears. Dozens of different kinds if pull saws and every type of sharpening stone.
