Nice atmosphere. It was last night before the second COVID lockdown, thought to say good bye to restaurants for now with a Wiener schnitzel. Thought I’ll have the best Wiener schnitzel in town, unfortunately disappointed. See Forst photo here, part of the schnitzel was kind of over done, not sure how such a thing happens... Location of the restaurant is super prime though, I love Bergmankiez and this specific spot. I think you would enjoy the out side seating when possible.

Holy (braised in port wine) cow! If you ever get sick of healthy vegan, ecologically-friendly living, this place is your cure. Delicious, HEAVY old world food in my favorite Berlin neighborhood. They will murder so many pigs and cows for you, it's amazing. Not recommended for people with heart or liver conditions.
In my opinion the BEST schnitzel in Berlin. No gimmicks, just light delicious crispy heaven. As mentioned above Austria is a no gimmicks kind of restaurant, the decor is old timey and classic and so is the menu. The staff are helpful, happy and polite, and they’ll easily field any questions you may have in German or English. The food is authentic and traditional Austrian cuisine and it is DELICIOUS. My mouth is just watering thinking of the combo of the schnitzel and potato salad. Website didn’t work on my phone, but was able to call to make a reservation. They do indoor and outdoor seating, so you can take in the area/neighbourhood for warm summer nights.
There is a lot of room for improvement. Together with my girlfriend I ordered a \Wiener Schnitzel\. The Schnitzel served were roasted in totally different ways. One schnitzel was golden brown and the other one was close to the limit of being charred and was therefore also a bit tough. Furthermore,both schnitzel did not have the shape of a whole, but looks like a tattered piece of meet. I can only recommend to see how a \Wiener Schnitzel\ is served in Vienna. Potato salad and cucumber salad was ok.
The best Schnitzel in town, amazing Spinat Knödel and even the desserts are great. Super recommended
