Truly beautiful place, full of wonders to discover. I personally loved the Japan section and the Muslim one, the last one really surprised me because of its symmetry which turns into a beautiful combination. Next time I will definitely try the cableway. Also worth mentioning: the staff was super polite and friendly, they asked me where I was from and gave me advice on how to appreciate the gardens. I consider this is a great advantage. Congrats! Downside: it is not allowed to drink nor eat inside the park. Of course I understand the rules I consider that there could be “ok-sections” because it’s a perfect place for a small picnic with friends. Or maybe they could as a 2 contribution for those who want to make a picnic. Just an idea

Highly recommend seeing this ,if you are visiting Berlin. A huge park, with dedicated gardens from different parts of the world. Can spend hours here for the nature lovers! There is even a cable car to get across the park.

We took U5 to Kienberg, which was the most convenient stop for us. One can either take the gondola up or walk uphill for a while. There are other entrances to access the gardens. The gondola ride was okay, but nothing spectacular. Might as well take it if you’re only there once. We did a good amount of walking in the gardens. Some plants were still blooming. I imagine it to be beautiful in spring. Everything was well maintained, some areas were closed due to corona (notably the maze and Balinese garden). There’s lots of benches to sit and relax. Good on a lovely day.
