Lovely but on the small side. Parking is limited and could get dirty if wet, as parking on the grass verge. Dog friendly, lovely views, nice cafe with toilets. Food was good. We went in the autumn and the colours were beautiful. I expect the gardens will be spectacular in the summer. I would definitely go again.

A lovely peaceful visit. Lots of great gardens as well as the main arboretum. A super area for picnics with tables and a marquee, as well as a tea shop. Perfect place for small children - trail and play area. Not a whole day's activity, but good for a couple of hours - probably longer if you have kids.
First time visiting Arboretum. What a wonderful place i have missed for years until now. If u like stunning views and majestic trees this is the place for you. So many walks you can do. Play area for the kids. My little grandson loved it. Food drinks nice 2. Well worth a visit. It is on our list now 2 visit again and again.
