What an experience!! If you are within 50miles of this place you got to pay them a visit! The experience is only exceeded by the staff's amazing service. Ryan had the boat ready and went through everything needed for a safe trip on the motor boat along the canal. Family and pet friendly. Equipment in perfect order and clean. This place is a jewel in Somerset's crown. Peaceful.

Spent a wonderful 3 hours on a canal boat for a delayed 40th birthday surprise with my family on the canal today. And although it was a rainy day, John, our captain, was fantastic!! Nothing was too much trouble. From letting our boys steer and keeping them safe, to answering all of our 100's of questions. The boat was clean and well stocked, and the fish and chips we had delivered to us were superb. The staff in the cafe were so friendly and made us all feel so special. All in all, the staff at Somerset Boat centre made a rainy day on the canal very special indeed. I highly recommend!!

So, today my partner and I went kayaking for the first time. Below is what I can tell you about my day. Booking was simple on the website, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, I apparently look like a professional getting into a kayak and I can tell you I definitely don't getting out. Kakaying can be a fun thing to have races or just relax and take in the scenery. All of that and yet it was so cheap!! I cannot wait to go again and take others with me next time. Thankyou for a truly amazing day out

This was my 4th visit, every time the staff have been fantastic. Everything is cleaned before you can use the equipment. Staff keep their distance yet still being super helpful. I can't praise them enough. Its a great place for an afternoon of peace and quiet.

What a gem! Somerset Boat Centre is a fantastic company with excellent clean facilities and a vast range of boats available to hire. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and instructions before hiring the boats were clear and informative. Our family group hired out two self-drive day boats for an afternoon and had an exhilarating experience on the Bridgwater and Taunton Canal with a stop off half way for a family picnic. We will certainly recommend this place without hesitation to anyone visiting Somerset and will certainly be doing it again next time we visit! Thank you Ryan, for your hospitality and an excellent experience for the family and me. Seen you soon!
