Website says it's open. Sign on locked gate says it's closed. Disappointing!

Enjoyed this historic château with links to many royal family members. Admission is free. There's an ongoing archeological effort in the château and a free museum with artifact recovered there. The surrounding park in beautiful and picturesque, especially with the fall colors and flower plantings.
