Modern Independent Celebrant

Great place with the best showers I have ever experienced at marina. Seriously this place is so worth a visit just for the showers alone. The other plus is the short walk to the pub and historic sites at this location. The trip up by boat is magical too.

We took the kayak down to the the harbour. Parking there was 5 (per car) for the day. Launch was another 5 (per boat). We were able to drive the truck to the slipway so we didn't need to carry all our kit from the carpark. We had access to toilet and shower facilities, which were clean and well maintained. We had a 2hr paddle, which was enjoyable and very tranquil, we even saw a seal which we were not expecting! There is also a nice pub in walking distance that we later ate at. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, hope to return soon.

Very beautiful part of Hampshire,lovely walks along and near the river.Alot of history in the area dating back hundreds of years.

Good facilities and location, pretty area, but so far found staff rather grumpy in the office, was like getting blood out of a stone asking questions as just purchased boat stored there, maybe a bad day, will otherwise 5 star if it improves next time...

Lovely part of the world ( most probably particularly as it was early in the season). Some conservation buildings all very well kept. Staff in pub helpful and terrace very restful place to have a drink. There was a wedding on and it was a great venue. We didn’t moor there but took a mooring down the Beaulieu river a really idyllic spot.
