Great ambiance. Great service. However the food is, in my opinion, below average and overpriced. I would come here again for a cocktail, but would look elsewhere for an Italian meal.

Classic Italian food with upscale vibe. Bringing its expertise from Rome, this restaurant is like no other in Williamsburg. The wine selection is all Italian but there is always a perfect match for every dish. If you cannot get a reservation, eating at the modern yet warms looking bar is an option. Great for dates and nice meals with loved ones.
I came to Antica Pesa in Williamsburg for the first time maybe 8 years ago after being to the one in Rome while on vacation. We'd had such an amazing dinner there that we figured we needed to try the NY location, as I lived right there. And it didn't disappoint - everything we ate was amazing, the wine list was incredible, and the staff were engaging and very attentive. It truly felt like we were in Italy. After that, I made it a yearly thing to go back and support them, I've brought my colleagues, friends, loved ones. But I'm sad to say that every time I've returned the food and service has just continued to disappoint. I've been twice in the last year, once prior to the pandemic and once since restaurants 're-opened', and I'm sad to say that after these experiences i may not be back. The staff is disengaged (for example, tonight my waiter has spent the whole night hanging out with the owners table and his guests, completely neglecting to check in on the guests - it's been 30 Minutes and i have an empty glass and haven't been asked for dessert). But even more disappointing is the food. You used to be able to taste the love in the food and now, my past 3 meals, have been cold. Particularly their 'famous' Bufala dish - honestly just tastes terrible - sour cheese that used to melt when you cut it, and half crispy phyllo dough. And the pasta, something i could whip up myself. All for a competitive price point. I'm sad to say i will no longer recommend this spot and will encourage people to seek other Italian options out in Williamsburg.
Went for Valentine’s Day; everything was perfect: atmosphere, decor, and service. The millefoglie de melanzana is astoundingly good. Lorenzo is the essence of Hospitality !
Me and My Wife, we both Love Italian Food. I personally know the owner and stuff. They are very kind and generous people. Prices are not that high, but comparing to the food, it’s cheap :)
