Rainier Reindeer Ranch is nestled in the shadow of Mount Rainier in Western Washington and is owned by Sophia McKee. The idea was born after she visited the Tsaatan Tribe in Northern Mongolia. She fell in love with the reindeer at first sight and was captivated by their calm nature and loving personalities. After returning from Mongolia, Sophia started Rainier Reindeer Ranch to share these magical creatures with children and adults alike.

Fun for the whole family! My husband was laughing like a school boy, and my three year old son was giggling the whole time! Very friendly well socialized animals, and a knowledgeable and caring host. We will be back next year!

My now fiancé proposed to me here and it was truly a wonderful experience. Sophia is not only knowledgeable of reindeer she has real life experience and stories to share from Mongolia. I can tell she has a passion for the cute fellas. The farm is well kept and so many other cute animals to look at, the turkeys were a delight and so friendly. Lastly she gave us our first gift as an engaged couple, a beautiful reindeer antler that I will cherish forever, whenever I look at it it brings me joy. Thank you for the wonderful experience

The Reindeer Ranch was a great experience, even in the pouring rain!! Sophia was very informative about the reindeer and even had cider and cookies. We had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend it.
