I hardly ever use the doctors but have found this experience infuriating. I can understand why some nervous patients let illnesses build up until they become serious and have no choice but to call 111 or 999. It has taken me on average 30 mins to get through on the phone. 1 day it took me 50 mins. No wonder people go to 111 or A&E. It seems they are dealing with 3 surgeries worth of patients to 1 phone number. The admin and the website are terrible. The management need to employ more staff. The nurse I have spoke with so far has been great. Trying to see an actual doctor is more difficult than an appointment with the Queen! If this was a business people would go elsewhere but we are stuck with geographical postcode placements to allotted surgeries. And before anyone says it, you can't blame it all on covid because there are private clinics and hospitals doing just fine with current restrictions.

Have just waited over 20 mins to get through on the phone as I cannot login on the \SystemOnline\. Finally got through only to be told they cannot help, I have to bring the repeat prescription request to the surgery in writing (I'm currently housebound) or send it online (system won't let me login). Catch 22! You can complain...online! Frustrating doesn't even come close. The infrastructure is wholly inadequate for the number of patients. Patford Street by itself used to be a brilliant surgery but they have overstretched themselves with the new partnership. Devastated that Dr Bowen has retired and no-one mentioned it.

I had an appointment last Wednesday to get a repeat prescription, I have been to the chemist today and the prescription has not even been processed by the dr!!! Absolutely shocking!!!

Just appalling to be honest. Receptionist finally returned my call with information of an appointment I have been waiting months for. I had politely called to chase it, as the hospital had no record of the appointment and been totally left in the dark. She was quite abrasive. It’s not my fault the NHS is broken beyond repair. The Dr informed me it needed immediate attention. That was more than 2 months ago and still no reply, appointment or acknowledgement. Ended up paying through the nose to go privately, as this could potentially be bad news and I quite simply can’t wait any longer. If it is bad news, then I will be visiting a claims solicitor. Anyway, won’t bother you ever again NHS with my trivial problems. Useless
