No one really knows how this become a landmark in Cambridge, it's really out of place. Best place to encounter big groups of tourists (not that we gave those anymore). So if you don't like that, avoid the place. Go make a picture of Kings College Chapel. It really is better.

One of john taylor's weaker attempts at 'art'. A selfish cry for help - less influence from the bauhaus movement would've been appropriate. For example, 'sage' by heston blumenthal [BKE820UK] is most excellent (pictured below). Sleek, functional, timeless: did I say functional?
Deep meaning and cool to look at
The most unusual clock I have ever seen. After seeing It took almost 15 minutes to know the basic things of this clock and then I searched in wikipedia for the details. The idea of mechanism of such clock is simply brilliant. I remember there was no place to sit, people had to stand and watch the whole thing.
A mechanical wonder and one of the prettiest illustrations of time I have ever encountered. I love about it particularly that it is inexact most of the time, but then again exact every 5th minute. A must-visit in Cambridge, located just outside King‘s College.
