Got here 15 mins before the departure time for mont generoso, the parking was full. you have to drive 100m to an empty lot further and pay 8 chf for the whole day. There is no tkt machine, so you have to wait in line at the station to buy tkt. I thought we would miss the train. But they were actually nice, they waited for people lining up for tickets before leaving. So it is not like SBB which leaves on the dot of the scheduled departure time. But it is better just to buy your tkt online. So you don’t get a heart attack for thinking you would miss the train and would have to wait for an hour.

Départ pour le Monte Generoso. Magnifique vue ! Continuer à pied jusqu'au sommet ensuite faire toute la descente à pied. C'est merveilleux....!!Au sommet magnifique restaurant (architecte Mario Botta). Il faut absolument voir cette belle architecture !
