Liked the look of the Taberna from across the road . Nice peaceful setting in this quiet village . Staff were very attentive, makes a change to see people working well in the job . We chose tapas for lunch plate spare ribs , fish and chips croquettes tuna salad . These were al served on terracotta dishes . All the tapas were ti die for ! What was hot was ! What was cold was too ! Definitely be going there again ! Friendly staff good food cooked very well and a peaceful location in the sun ...cant be bad .

Great food (Entrecôte was amazing), very friendly staff It was not the last dinner in La Taberna 2
Wonderful, friendly service. All the food was first class - there’s tapas, menu del dia and and early bird menu that are all outstanding value. Eaten there twice and will definitely go back - hake was fantastic and the duck too, well everything was but they stood out. All served with lovely fresh vegetables and a choice of potatoes. The owner and her staff deserve all the credit in the world for a great restaurant in a traditional setting in the square of the Castillo.
Disappointing food. Even with notice they couldn't cater for a customer who had dietary restrictions.
Good quality food, a mixed cuisine of Spanish and English food. Very good and pleasant service. In the evenings (until 20:00) you can get an early bird Dinner for 18 euros which includes starter and the main course.
