Had my wedding here last November, it’s a beautiful venue and we were really happy with it. Staff were really helpful with the booking. Only dropped to 4 stars due to some extra costs which you have to pay, e.g. flowers in the main house and bins, I would definitely recommend reading the agreement thoroughly as they do state the costs on there but it would be easier if it was all added together to give a complete quotation from the beginning. I was also not able to get ready at the venue because the previous nights couple had booked the rooms and you can only hire the room for the day from 10am. But overall it was lovely and I would recommend.

Boreham house is simply AMAZING! Went to a friend’s wedding last week Friday, I have got to say this place has a superb scenery and I would most certainly recommend this place for any special event. A spectacular and stunning wedding venue that boasts extravagance, elegance and luxury. The mansion itself is beautifully attractive with an very well-crafted interior. This place is surrounded by lovely green acres and a small lake, perfect for wedding shots! The marquee is beautiful and a great place to dine guests and Service is brilliant. The location is great and not too far from London which is very convenient. There are lots of parking spaces available for guests within the venue. Overall, very impressed and I would highly recommend for anyone’s special day. I would give this place more then 5* if I could!

This is surrounded by lovely green acres and a small lake, perfect for those wedding shots! The marquee is beautiful and a great place to dine guests. The location is great and not too far from London which was convenient. There are lots of parking spaces available for guests within the venue. Overall, very impressed and would highly recommend for your special day.

We were the 1st Asian wedding in Boreham house 3 years ago but Teresa character has changed drastically, unfortunately. We had called multiple times to review the venue however nobody seemed to get back to us they took our details and did not get back only when we mentioned being the 1st Asian wedding she remembered. The customer service was poor and rude on the phone. When we did get a viewing Teresa pushed us to make a decision then and there to go with them. Multiple hidden prices such as prices for bins and cleaners ,price to sit on certain chair or in certain rooms not mentioned when signing contract. I have never in my life heard of a price to sit on a chair!! There is unfortunately no room to get ready in unless it’s a hidden charge. If this was the price I would have negotiated the price further down. The inside was not cleaned, a lot of work needs to be done on the property cracks, lights not working in the house, the lake infront of the house was full of leaves and with muddy water. Going back on wishes saying that will not be provided, the venue may be lovely but I have found nicer marque places closer and more beautiful. Best wishes Teresa in the future you will need it looking at the reviews appearing. My advice would also be ,be careful whatever you say to T she will use it to make a mental price of how much you are willing to pay.

Came here for a wedding and although the grounds were beautiful, the day was definitely ruined by their rude and unprofessional staff. I don’t know how you can have staff that are so rude to guests on the day of a wedding. We were searching for a bathroom so entered through an already open door, after which a lady came and very rudely & patronisingly told us that this was a ‘closed house’ and we shouldn’t be there. I asked her why was the door open then? I also heard the same lady making loud comments about the event and the guests (maybe as it was an Asian wedding) prior to this, whilst there were guests around her. Was actually considering having an event here whilst driving up the lawn but since encountering the staff I’ve decided to avoid. The place can be as beautiful as can be, but if you’re treated like dirt by the staff then there is no way you will have a nice day. EDIT: even though I had never even heard of Boreham house before attending, their response to my review is that I must have some incentive, as if I’m a rival business owner which is just shocking. Perhaps take ownership of the issue and ask for more info on the staff member so you can deal with the matter with her? She was the one in the main house foyer at 6:10pm, she was Caucasian with blonde hair, and her male colleague was also nearby. Also in their response they claim that it could have been external staff, however it was definitely a member of the Boreham house team as she was the one facilitating the management of the main house along with her male colleague. I also find it funny how you would claim I should go out of my way on an enjoyable wedding day to go and find management, clearly I was quite upset and other people told me to just leave the situation and enjoy the day which is what I did. But I came on here to explain the issue to others- will happily point out the staff member in question if you would like?
