Reclaim is a great place for secondhand bargains. Whilst it is a brilliant idea to recycle unsold paint donated from manufacturers, it doesnt seem to be working. The shelves are groaning under the weight and its obvious that very little is being sold,.as I see the same cans year after year. and its obvious why. I went to try and buy a large can of white paint. If I'd found one it would have cost 10, not a bad price IF you knew what was in the can ,but faced with can after can reading \base\ or \pastel\ its was going to be a gamble. There has been some attempt to paint colours on the lids ,but its patchy., and who's going to buy an unknown colour ? There are no colour charts that relate to the paint. After a frustrating search, I gave up and went to Wickes and bought a new Dulux can, in the colour and finish I wanted for 17. It simply wasn't worth the hassle, gamble and time to save just 7. Why not reduce the price right down to 1 a can, just to clear the stock AND let people know it is there?

I have purchased quite a few things from Reclaim. They have a good selection and often are cheaper than the other furniture recycling stores in Cheltenham or Gloucester. I also like to support the charitable work they do to support people with mental health issues and to help the environment.
