Have visited the pub many times over the years and was so pleased to see it reopen this year. My family and I sampled the burgers today whilst sitting in the sunshine in a lovely setting. Big home made beef burgers and home made skin on wedges as accompaniment. Caught a glimpse last Sunday of their roast dinner which looked tasty and well portioned. Hard working staff, good food and beer. Well done to the new landlords , keep up the good work.

Excellent Sunday lunch today. Roast beef delicious, good portions and piping hot. Couldn’t fault it. Second time we’ve visited since it was taken over and will definitely be back. Would recommend the steak & ale pie too. Very reasonably priced and good service. Support local business.
A wonderful pub! We came here by chance on a Sunday afternoon, the staff were so lovely and attentive. They’re working very hard during Covid, with measures to ensure that everyone is safe and having a good experience. The food was fantastic, be sure to try the sticky toffee pudding!
Lovely family friendly restaurant with friendly staff offering nice food. Old fashioned/ traditional decor inside with lots of space outside to sit and. Food is lovely however maybe a tad overpriced, we had a Chicken volcano burger and salmon with new potatoes and seasonal veg. (Burger photographed had been started on!)
