Applied with Amtrak & found that they commit age-discrimination if you're over 40. Four people in my interview session were ages 24 to 31, all with less or zero experience and skill-sets. Interesting when I found they were hired & I was declined for ot enough experience\ with heavy machinery. Very interesting since I have 26 years of heavy machinery driving, moving, & 3.1million miles of safe operation. The others had zero experience. If you're over 40, avoid trying to hire on with this company.
