Went to watch Private Peaceful, this was performed well. I understand the concept of Barnfest at this time but the road noise made it difficult to hear the actors, especially when they were facing away from us this may have been less of an issue inside the main area. We chose a box with chairs near the front, again because we weren't in the main marquee the chairs were metal patio chairs and we found them very uncomfortable. I would still recommend experiencing this event and supporting our local theatre maybe just take cushions for the chairs.

Brilliant performance of Christmas Carol, we struggled to get tickets due to booking late, but managed to get seats after Christmas. It’s a nice venue with a public car park directly opposite. The car park fills up quickly, so you need to be mindful of not turning up with five minutes to spare. We went for a 2.30pm showing and the car park was full, but fortunately someone exited at exactly the right time for us. The drinks and ice cream are over priced, but I have to admit the ice cream is really good and not easy to resist. The majority of the seats are at the same level and just below stage height, you need to be mindful of this if you have small children.

Lovely idea to perform outside shows in the garden. The World Goes round was innovative, but all of it was so uncomfortably loud that we had to block our ears. Arriving at our alloted pre-show time we had to sit through 30 minutes of intrusive, (background??) very loud piano mucic, which made conversing with our friends whilst waiting for the start, very unpleasant, and which continued throughout the show, thus dominating the good singers' slick performances. We all felt drained afterwards.
