When is Silvermere going to stop profiteering from Covid? Forcing people to pay a premium for 120 balls and then give them 45 minutes to hit - they claim it's a 55 minute booking despite turning up 10 minutes early yesterday and my bay being free I wasn't allowed in until 3 minutes after my scheduled time and then had someone sitting over me to tell me to finish up when I still had 5 minutes left?

It has never been so unpleasant like this. I booked on the Internet and went about 10 minutes earlier, but a lady working at the driving range tells me to wait about 5 minutes, but it seems to be empty, but she tells me to wait. It's okay to say good, but I said it would offend me for nothing. When I was asked from another lady if I was going to drink coffee, I asked her if it was free, and I felt worse when I saw them giggling over there. It was a good place in the past, but because of the coronavirus, this place wasn't the same, so I felt bad.

SHOCKING!!! Firstly they completely forgot to fulfil our booking and had to scramble together a table for us. Secondly they took 45 minutes to even get our first drinks after getting sat down. Then the dinner arrived, we ordered the roast beef, it was tough as old boots. Roast potatoes and all veg was clearly frozen and poorly prepared. Overall was a awful meal and an awful experience.

Had a custom fitting for irons a hybrid a driver and wedges today from Jamie Northcote in the custom fitting centre. I'm currently playing off a 24 handicap I thought can they really improve my game that much being such a high handicap? I must say was absolutely blown away by the level of detail that Jamie put into my fitting even from breaking down my swing to little details such as grip shaft weight and and length also ball striking. I must admit I was apprehensive and very nervous to start with but Jamie was thoroughly professional throughout and really helped me achieve the potential of my swing and I feel I walked away with lots of vital info to help my game along with a better understanding of where I'm going wrong. Id advise any high handicapper that's perhaps thinking people may laugh or somebody that's maybe too nervous to go and have a fit to definitely just go for it as it will give you vital info and pointers that you could be missing out on to help improve your game . So a big thank you to Jamie Northcote and the silvermere golf facility for making my fitting experience reassuring fulfilling and very rewarding i'm really looking forward to receiving my new clubs now regards Ian Rodber

Course awful reqs more maintenance daily. Tee boxes were like muddy swamps and could not see fairways easily due to leafs left. Greens very slow and condition below par. No shoe cleaning facilities open after the round had the area taped off. Not sure why when other courses have them open. Fantastic facilities tho only saving part of our experience. Would maybe be a better course in summer however winter a course to avoid.
