A local and seems authentic food. Service was great. We came on a busy day but very glad that we got the table at last. Food came quite quick. Taste was generally fine but it's hard for me to compare with others as I'm not local here. As a tourist I would recommend you to drop by.

A very nice place with great atmosphere. It's a little touristic but the food was great. The service was great. The food is very food, one of the best tart flambé I've had. A little pricey though.

I was a bit hesitant due to some mixed reviews but was glad we came. The food was great. Bone marrow was super rich. You need to wait 20 minutes for it and it comes out piping hot. Pate was was very good as well as the pickled slaws which accompany it. For mains we had the smoked goose with choucroute and frog legs in a Riesling sauce. Frog legs are bony by nature so just be aware and the Riesling sauce was nice, also rich. Smoked good and choucroute was well made and hearty. I would consider to give it 5* but want to give singable expectations. Inside it is a bit tacky but has a homey feel to it. One thing is I wish the wine list was better. We ordered a grand cru which they did not have which I hate considering there are thousands of wines produced in the immediate area. No excuse not to have a wine list with wines that you actually have.

Somewhat out of the way in a side alley, very unpretentious, with mostly local clientele. Very friendly service giving every effort to describe the dishes in English. Excellent food of the regional cuisine. Very reasonable prices.

We chose this cute place for our last meal of our anniversary trip to Europe, and it was not a mistake. The restaurant was warm and cozy inside and very nicely decorated. Our waitress didn't speak English and we only know maybe four words of Francais, but it worked out well! I ordered the fleischschnacka, and it came in a very flavourful broth. I think that's how it's supposed to be, although my only other time ordering this dish had come plated dry with tomatoes on top and potatoes on the side. I much prefer the saucy version. They were really good, except one of the two was mostly pasta and not enough meat. It came with a small green salad that was dressed with a very nice sweetish dressing. My husband ordered the pork cheeks in pinot noir sauce and it was soooo good! Superbly tender and sweet and savory. He had a choice of fries or spaetzle, and of course, we got the spaetzle. Finished the meal with a couple of espressos. It was the perfect last meal. There's a whole story in the beginning of the menu that explains how the restaurant came to be. Google Translate could not adequately translate it for us. Would be very interested to hear from someone else what it says!

Service was slow and forgot some of our order then we had to wait for the food whilst the other bits went cold. Steak wasn’t great for the price and the vegetables were from frozen and not Great to taste.
