They advertise and claim that they hire vans for couriers (sole traders) but once you call them they tell you they hire for agencies. Reply: I called twice. Nothing changed. No vans for sole trader couriers. They want to rent only for the company I work for. I guess the target is to rent in bulk.

Had a van off them for about a week. Standard of van was just as good as the big players but the service received by empire was a totally different level. Very helpful, even helped me to load up my car, made sure i was shown all and everything about my vehicle and made me feel like i had some value to them as a customer. Will defo be using these guys next time and every time if i ever need a van
What a refreshing experience I had using Empire Vans. No fuss, no small print and no hidden nonsense, just friendly and expedient customer service! I was a little apprehensive hiring a van given the confusing experiences I’d had hiring cars but I needn’t have worried. I received polite and efficient service from really genuine guys. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or hire from them again.
Best service EVER! I’ve only rented from this company twice, but on both occasions the service has been fantastic. Rose (who took my booking over the phone) was super and did her best to accommodate my short-notice request. The weekend availability is a massive plus. The chaps in the office are fantastic - super-friendly, chatty and really go the extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble. I’m so glad I found this place - just the kind of people I like to do business with!
