This place used to be the best!!! But they have new management now and it’s not the same ! Wish it was still family owned like previous years. I just went the other day. After stopping for a while once I found out it was new management. I decided to try it again and not surprised at all !!! The shrimp are soggy and mushy . Broccoli mushy and over cooked ! Sauce isn’t even the same! The rice is barely cooked! Just not the same at all! They just hire people to work the registers so service isnt good anymore either.

This was my first time to this place, as I had driven by it over the years. Never had I gone in here until today.... One of the first things I noticed was the fact that on a Friday evening, the place had a lot of customers cycling in and out! I ordered a Sweet and Sour Chicken Combination Platter, which included the aforementioned item, along with Chicken Fried Rice and an Egg Roll for less than 10.00! For the money, they give you a LOT of food. I managed to eat all of it (save the Egg Roll for another time), and the food was very good overall. The Sweet & Sour Chicken was not tough, but tender enough to eat with no problems. And, the Chicken Fried Rice was pretty good as well, even though I would have preferred that they should have cooked the Chicken in the rice a little linger so it would not be as tough to eat (as a few of the pieces were a little tough to eat). Aside from that, it was a good experience overall. The presentation of the food, for it being at this particular price point, was quite acceptable in my opinion. I plan on coming back in the future to eat some more as time progresses.

I have been eating here for 30 years. Really longer, it use to be a TCBY first. They are now on the 3rd owner of Happy Dragon. The first owner was a grumpy lady but great food, she was never mean to me so no problem on my end. The food was always good and the restaurant was always crowded. Second owners were a nice couple... I watched their kids grown up. The food was still great and they always new my order even as my family grew. This third owner has screwed the restaurant up... the food is bad now: under cooked rice, hair in my wings, no shrimp egg rolls, order wrong three times, service is bad and nothing really taste the same..... At one point, we ate here once a week for about 3 years straight with the last owners. But after 30 years I must say, I am done with Happy Dragon.. we are over. Looking for a new Chinese restaurant. Mainly because the food has changed... it's really bad now.

Their food is good. Prices are high and they changed the sauce for the shrimp boil bags and they no longer put sausage in them. Over all good place.
