Awesome trail system, very well maintained although not a big deal but the map could be updated to include Gravity and other new Trails built recently. Big thanks to Rockwheelers MTB club.

Always being updated and maintained, well signed and easy to follow coloured trails and always someone willing to show you around.

Some amazing ttails, ranging from flow to technical, there are plenty of signs and traiforks seems up to date. There are lots of sharp rocks so pack a spare tube. They could also use a tap and a toilet as it is a long way to civilization

Great trails to explore. Bring your hard tail, short travel dually or long travel for the burly stuff. Lots of new trails getting added or modified all the time.

MTB single track mecca, good trails clearly marked. Couple of access points also. Few walkers on trails near Uni after work during week, so just be aware as a few had earphones on.....

Whether you are looking to get into mountain biking or stopping on your way through townsville, Douglas Mountain Bike Reserve is a must! I've ridden in a number of locations around Australia and Townsville is definitely one of my favourite!
