A beautiful spot on quite a wet day. This small peak which almost looks like a much smaller version of Glastonbury Tor, is famous for the far reaching glimpses of the surrounding countryside was pretty boggy today. For all that it still offered some safe and healthy exercise very close to home at a time of lockdown. Others had the same idea but not so many that we were bumping into them. It will be lovely to see it around Easter time assuming the annual ritual of erecting a cross at the top takes place, not so much for the Christian symbolism but more as a sign that maybe some normality is returning to this country.
