I went there on a trip with my VFW Post 3944 and other VFW post for the childrens Halloween party and a tour of the homes. It was a pleasant visit and all of the workers there worked so hard to get this party together for these kids and their families. It was a happy place and the children and their families looked very content. The homes were well maintained and the grounds were just beautiful. My Post will continue donations as we have for years and keep this beautiful place running for our Military families. We love you guys and look forward to seeing you next year. What a joke. They aren’t willing to help a single mom but, can help a married couple with two working incomes in the program. I feel like I was overlooked and not treated fairly because I’m a single mom. I feel like they were prejudice and wanted only people who would look good for donors to get more money. They don’t help people who truly need the help. It’s a disgrace. Jenn from the help line is rude and isn’t respectful. This is an embarrassment for the American people who’s relatives serve and need help. Awful. Completely awful.

Lived here for a good part of my life. The people were great. Ms Mitchell and V.C were my parents at the time two great people and they made many great memories for me to share with my children now.
