First of all it was a great pleasure to have lessons with Mari! She is an incredible well- balanced singing teacher. She is able to put across how to use body parts to project good voice. We especially worked on high voice using songs which she specially chose me, taking my voice’s nature into consideration. I had lessons just for a month because I had to move to other country, but in all modesty I’ve got some progress.

Mari is a friendly and skilled singing teacher who has helped me with both technique and confidence. She gets a good balance between making it fun and helping you dig in and do the work that's needed to get rid of old bad habits and consolidate good new ones. She offers a structured programme but was also really happy to be flexible when what I wanted from lessons changed. As well as individual lessons, Mari regularly runs group sessions where you can meet and sing with fellow students. While a little nerve-racking at first, these are great opportunities to learn, not least about how to better manage performance nerves. People in the groups have always been supportive and encouraging as well as friendly and this has made the group lessons really great experiences.
She is a wonderful singing in teacher and vocal coach. I wanted to sing something special for my husband's birthday, but was very nervous about singing in front of other people. She prepared me thoroughly, taught me to relax and sing with confidence, and as a result it was a wonderful experience. She is very talented, and really knows how to bring the best out of her students.
What an incredible teacher! At first I wondered what it was going to be like and a wee bit embarrassed to be honest. I needn't have worried as she settled me into doing some fun exercises with my voice then took me through some vocal scales. I was amazed at the range she was able to unlock in my voice due to her knowledge of the voicebox and which exercises to use to enable to sound to develop. I've just been singing and learning for my own fun but I feel way more confident in my singing abilities now. She just makes you feel good singing and I always felt I'd progressed each week too.
