Very cute and relaxing place to take your kids. It's a small enclosure with a variety of butterflies. Worth the 6 if you take your time and take pictures and observe the butterflies suck the nector out of the flowers.

Such a beautiful place with a wonderful mission and purpose. My family and I left feeling uplifted and inspired. We will be planting our own butterfly friendly plants at home because we want our backyard to feel just like the butterfly farm.
It's a very small place, but, it's so educational for the little ones. I'm sure as the summer progresses, the butterflies will multiply. We bought the yearly family pass, because we're going to travel and there's over 300 places that the pass will give us free entry. The price was 64.00, but, it's worth it when traveling to other states. There's a few picnic tables outside of the butterfly tent to eat a bag lunch. The parking is free, and you can buy a small variety of plants there. There's also a small room where the larvae can be seen in different stages of life, it's amazing to watch. Enjoy.
A great way to spend an hour or two. The place is really small but so cute! To get any questions answered you should email them. They're really good at getting back to you though email. Through email I learned that July is the best time to see the butterflies. Warm and sunny part of the day is when the butterflies are active so if you want to take photos is best to go early in the morning or on a cloudy day.
The butterfly farms is a must see. Its facilities is on the smaller side but it is a wonderful experience. They have posters to help you identify butterflies and information on the how the butterflies are raised. They also have plants for sale, the plants are all butterfly favorites and help other encourage butterflies to visit your yard! Very informed staff, ask all you butterfly related questions!
