Absurdly hopeless they failed with my repeat prescriptions (they had the responsibility for same), blamed the GP (no they did as required - and indeed confirmed Luxton's errors) and I was then told that if I hadn't had them maybe there was no need for me to have the prescription in the first place! Unbelievable. No apology only blame transference. Just the worst customer experience one is ever likely to have. Avoid if possible, not least for the arrogance and rudeness of the staff, who seem to think they are doing you a favour. If someone can point me to an official complaints procedure, please let me know. A shocking dereliction of practical and ethical responsibility.

The staff at Luxton's pharmacy have gone all out to help me sort out a script for a client this week. They have been fantastic! As a regular visitor to collect medication I've always found the staff to be so friendly, helpful and polite.

The pharmacist is great, but the staff are just plain rude for example no smile, greeting or thank you! They look like they hate their jobs! On one or two occasions I've also been given bad advice. For example I asked if my son who has asthma could use my (unboxed) inhaler, identical brand/ingredients/dosage. The assistant behind the counter proceeded to lecture me that this was 'highly' unethical and illegal in a rather sanctimonius, indignant tone! After fact checking this with my GP, I was told that it is perfectly safe and reasonable to do so!

Excellent pharmacy. As a pharmacist myself, I find them very professional and they have outstanding clinical knowledge. George and his staff are kind and considerate to all patients, and go out of their way to support their patients. I have never had a prescription dispensed with an error, or had to wait an unreasonable time. I have never had any unpleasantness with the staff and I wouldn't change pharmacies for any reason, lovely to be able to use such a safe, professional and high quality place.
