I would like to pass on my experiences with Coodes and sadly they are not very good infact they are dismal. We first began discussing completion dates in September and have passed completion dates in October and November as they did not have financial authority to proceed for their client. I was informed that their clients mortgage application expires today 17 Nov 20 and they still do not have authority to proceed. So be warned and be wary I have been as polite as I can without loosing my sanity. But we discussed completion in September as my partner and I were moving to begin new jobs on 16th October. I still do not know what happens next as communication seems to be a major barrier and stumbling block. Complete lack of information as to our position ,likely dates for authority to proceed and realistic exchange and completion dates when they can proceed. Advise home buyers protection insurance and removals protection insurance. Although collapse is probably imminent I do not know anything as we are not being informed. Should this collapse watch out for further posts which will be comical, amusing and nothing but the truth so help me god, honesty is the best policy. SO I can actually say the post a Miss Joanne Andrews wrote does happen and Coodes response to her review lacked honesty , truth and realism. Please be for warned.

AVOID AVOID AVOID this company like the plague if you want to save yourself PAIN, GRIEF, STRESS & MONEY. My partner and I have the grave misfortune of being involved in a chain were our buyer is using Coodes solicitors of Falmouth. We started this process in July, today is the 8th December and still Coodes are no nearer sorting out the complete shambles they have made of this case! We recently discovered their incompetent solicitor Laura waited until the 30th Oct to send documentation to the lenders solicitors... and the head of Coodes conveyancy Maria had the sheer audacity to point the blame elsewhere other than her own incompetent solicitor. There own client is a 74 year old gentleman and they have treated him abominably, along with the rest of the families in this diabolical chain. So if you would like to spend 6 months of your life living on a knife edge, not having a clue if the chain has collapsed as the solicitor is incapable of providing any form of updates, if you like being misled and lied to.... then this is the conveyancy company for you!!!!!

I have been working with Lisa Brewer on a case for around 6 months which completed last Friday 22nd November after many ups and downs - and her colleague Emma stayed late on Friday to ensure that the transaction completed. Lisa has been fantastic, professional and remained calm at all times. A voice of reason throughout a very long and stressful process. As the estate agent in the chain I was so pleased to have Lisa by my side on this one and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or her colleagues at Coodes. A HUGE THANK YOU ;-)

After a few weeks and back and forth sending them documents, filling in their paperwork, they then send a generic email saying they don't have the capacity to continue the case. Not really the professional service I expected when I reached out to them last month. Save your time and look elsewhere as I will now have to do. I don't quite know how they became the 'leading law firm' that they call themselves ...if they can't even handle the most simple of cases

Just had the pleasure of dealing with Coodes in Falmouth with the lovely Amy Quinn to sort out my will. Really friendly welcoming reception and team. Amy made things that were quite difficult to think about so easy and I left feeling in very safe hands. Highly recommend this firm. And they have offices all over Cornwall.
