Very disappointed with CJVA. My daughter was involved with it for three years. Communication is poor at best whether you call to leave a message or email. My child was badly injured at a tournament and ended up needing surgery and nine months of physical therapy. No one from CJVA (including her coach!) even called to inquire about her at any time. Once she was well enough to be on the practice squad with her same teammates our request to have her return was ignored.

The CJVA volleyball program is one of the strongest in the region. The leadership truly cares about the children who participate in their club and put the children's needs first. It is a welcoming group of families. The coaches are technically competent, professional and the type of positive leaders you want for your children. After experiencing many club volleyball options in the area, this is the best.
My daughter played on their white team last year and had a terrible experience. The coach talked about her personal life and blamed the kids for losing tournaments. The administrators did not want to hear suggestions and only shrugged off our complaints, it seems to us that they did not hire the qualified staff they promised us at the beginning of the season. To top things off, at the end of the season during a tournament at Penn State, the coach ended up desserting the kids in the middle of the tournament because they kept losing. I would do my homework on club volleyball and I would highly suggest parents close to this area to consider Pennsylvania clubs as a viable alternative.
People there are so friendly. My daughter loves to play volleyball there.
