My first time having an arepa was here last week and it was so amazing my girlfriend and I came back today! The owner is so awesome and even remembered us. Such a friendly place to go. It’s my new favorite place!

To put it bluntly, is a SCI- FI breakfast place, Sunrise Diner has been here for over 20 years, my point of view, I got my info, according to the cashier. One thinks from the outside appearance that it is a sit down diner, BUT, when you enter the inside door, it is just a GOOD Hole in the wall take out and delivery with a tiny sitting area; henceforth, GoooooD FOOD and slot of it is homemade alot of businesses come as customers. I wish they had more of an outside area to stand and/or sit and eat. Some of the best places are just again, bluntly, Little Hope In the Walls Places to Eat. I had a good take out breakfast, a good American breakfast, and the staff was nice to ask me if I wanted to sit inside, but I had to rush to class at Gold Coast. Amazing, healthy food! Best arepa I’ve ever tasted. Baked, not fried. I ordered the El Camino, side of maduros, and side salad. Big portions! I split the arepa w my dad and I was still full. Ask for the orange sauce if you like a little kick ;) Wonderful service. 10/10 would visit again. #supportlocal
WOW. I’m so glad I gave this place a try (I placed a delivery order through Door Dash). THE BEST oatmeal I’ve ever tried! At first I almost didn’t order it because there weren’t any plant-based milk alternatives offered (like coconut milk or soy milk). But with oatmeal this good, I’m not sure I can care. I ordered the Wake Up oatmeal (with fruit), the Boker Tov (a salmon bagel) - which also was THE MOST amazing salmon bagel I’ve ever had, Miami (tuna salad sandwich), and Barbara (veggie sandwich). I intended to have each at a later time as individual meals (breakfast, lunch, early 5pm dinner, and late dinner since I work until 2am), but I ended up eating the oatmeal, entire salmon bagel, and parts of the other two (Miami & Barbara) all at once because they were SO good. In essence, these are fairly plain/simple items, but they are SO good and well-crafted, they left me in awe. Truly some of THE BEST food I’ve ever tried! I don’t know who makes the food there, but hats off to them! I hope to stop in personally for my next order.
I have been going to this restaurant for years. The quality and service are always the best.
