For anyone who hasn't yet visited Ridgeview Wine (as featured last night on Channel 4's @JamieandJimmy's #FridayFeast) they are located in the heart of #Sussex countryside on #DitchlingCommon (which is now being widely regarded as #EnglishWineCountry) and they have the most breath-taking tasting room with a glass bubble iconic chandelier as the centrepiece and the most awe-inspiring #picturewindow overlooking the vineyards, which honestly looks just like an oil painting (except, it's real and you can go out and revel in the beauty of it all). The wines are without doubt sensational, the staff are super fun and there's a real #foodie ethos with lots of #foodpairing ideas and suggestions. You can even partake in a #verticaltasting where you get to sample wines from different years and can really notice the #vintagevariation, which is one of the real charms of #EnglishSparklingWine ... just like #vintageChampagnes from the #grandesmarques, sparkling wines in this country are displaying all the hallmarks of #timelessclassics. We all enjoyed a sensational visit en famille when we attended the first ever #Ridgefest back in 2017 and it was pirate-themed (huge amounts of fun for my then, tiny children with us all dressed up in pirate regalia and all sorts of 'piratey' entertainment including treasure hunts around the vineyard, storytelling and followed by a live jazz band to while away the afternoon sipping fine #EnglishSparklingWine) Beyond recommended A*** [Photography courtesy of @DrinksNetwork]

What a lovely location. We took the tour and we're really impressed with the detail we were given on the process of producing sparkling wine. The tasting afterwards was also superb with 4 wines offered and the invitation to enjoy them in the garden.
I just dropped in to visit the tasting room rather than booking on a tour as it was a bit of a spur of the moment thing, but enjoyed the experience nonetheless. Miriam was a very nice host, and I'm already a fan to Ridgeview's wines so they didn't need much selling! Lovely view from the tasting room (you can see immediately where the name comes from!), and nice to see some glimpses of the winery through the windows nearby, even if you're not booked onto a tour.
Couldn't fault it. All the staff were friendly, efficient . The tour was interesting. Their future plans look promising. I would definitely recommend it.
Enjoyable tour, lovely surroundings and fantastic wines to taste. Worth a visit.
