Great people, excellent salads, the chicken with pine nuts was incredible. Awesome falafels. Highly recommended. Good for gluten free, dairy free individuals. Go there!

Delicious food, sizable portions, easy ordering and pickup. I got the chicken shawarma and fell in love. There is something very special about the sauce that goes along with the fries. Definitely go for the mint-infused lemonade, too!

As a person who never been in Gainesville, my first instinct was to look through recommended options online. If you look through top recommended food locations in a small town like Gville, Sababa is always mentioned on any list. I have decided to give it a try. Located in the downtown area, the location is very small. They have space where you can order food and a couple of tables and chairs where you can dine in. Based on the condition the restaurant is at and the old pictures of regulars that date back to 2015, the location is pretty old. The menu is might be a bit hard to understand for customers who are not familiar with vegetarian food and not sure what to order. For my order, I got falafel pita and shakshuka. You have a choice of a meal or a pita sandwich. I would recommend going for a meal. It comes with Israeli couscous, pickled red cabbage, some veggies & chickpeas a cup of tahini sauce, and homemade hummus. The food itself was delicious, the combination of all flavors together was incredible. After eating the meal you feel so wholesome. You also get a couple of warm pita bread with your order. After trying a couple of places in Gville, Sababa beats all of them for me. Very simple dishes that make you feel good about eating out! My only recommendation to a manager or an owner of this location is to improve on a condition of the restaurant itself.

I had the falafel entree. It comes with pita too. It was delicious!
