Absolutely insane week! James is such a cool guy, and a really good instructor with loads of experience, I learnt so much in just 5 days! Also just the activities we were able to do were incredible! From leading my first multi pitch crag to leading sea cliffs. 110% would recommend him to anyone thinking about doing a rock climbing course. Plus from how much you can get out of a course, the value for money compared to many is also the best!

Having previously had a great day with James when we were introduced to trad rock climbing, I recently arranged for my teenage Son and I to spend a day improving our scrambling ability. Having previously completed grade 1 scrambles unguided, with the help of our instructor Simon we were able to go the next level and complete a fantastic day of grade 2/3 scrambling/mountaineering on the East face of Tryfan. Like James, we both found Simon very easy to get along with and he was particularly patient and engaging with my Son who likes to ask LOTS of questions. That’s two superb days we’ve now had with these guys and I can’t wait for the next adventure!!
Had an absolutely amazing 5 days learning to lead with James. We learnt loads of useful skills whilst having a great adventure on a variety of climbs doing both multi-pitch climbs in the mountains and on sea cliffs. James was fun and engaging with lots of experience and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a rock climbing adventure.
Excellent day rock climbing for my family. I had mailed James to enquire about the possibility of getting my son 6 and daughter 3 climbing and he was great reassuring me straight away about my 3 year old. Communication was great throughout and my last minute change of meeting point request was granted and we met James in the morning where he introduced himself to us and was really good fun telling the kids little things about berries you can eat, grass to use as candles and plants you can stick to Dads bum, nice one James I was covered when I got home. The climbing was great with really supportive learning from him and his team mate Ren. The day was managed perfectly with games to keep the kids entertained and a dip in the lake to take the heat off. My son is totally hooked on climbing and that is in no doubt thanks to how the day was managed with a big emphasis on fun whilst also feeling completely safe and assured throughout the experience. We will be booking again thanks James
We booked a family climbing day with James we spent the morning getting use to techniques on union rock and then in the afternoon went to lion rock and climbed a multi pitch. We all loved the day and would throughly recommend it.
