Great dessert shop! We had the black syrup over shaved ice. It tasted like molasses but was not as thick. It had a delicious light flavor and was not too sweet. I can't remember what the other dessert we had was called. It was like a slime that you dipped in the black syrup. It was weird but tasty. The staff are wonderful. We speak no Japanese and they helped us understand how to eat the desserts with actions and demonstrations and were super friendly. They had old big band music playing as well to add to the ambiance which was great. We paid 2,200 yen and feel it was worth it. It was nice to spend some time enjoying the experience rather than just eating a quick treat and moving on with our night.
Delicious desserts and cozy atmosphere. There was a little bit of a wait when we went but the line moved quick. The next day we walked passed it and there was no line. Definitely worth the line though!
Firstly, i would like to have Kakigori place, then i found this one. The shop open at 11:30, i got there around 11:15, and found that many people were queuing. I went for both Kakigori and Warabi Mochi, which i saw many people were ordering. This is my first time for Warabi Mochi, it tasted very good, was little sticky but very gentle and soft. The brown sugar in liquid was very tasty, it was not too sweet and sharp. It was just perfect. Very worth to have it!!!
Had to queue for some time for this, but wooowwwww, it's definitely worth it. I had no idea how mochi could be so delicious. So soft and tasty. Simply amazing. I never liked rice cake and red bean soup, but my girlfriend and I went ahead to get those too. Guess what? That was also amazing. We were given a mini stove (?) to heat up our rice cake so it melts slightly like marshmallows over fire. Together the the smooth red bean soup, it was a combination I will never forget.
