I’ve have realised that finding a good removals company is always tricky – you only do it occasionally and there’s no going back if things don’t work out on the day! I have usually used a friend’s recommendation or other local knowledge before, but being new to the Glasgow area that was not so easy. My move was a local one (only 8 or so miles in the Garelochhead area) and I really wanted it done in a day, so I got 4x quotes. The highest was outrageous and they obviously didn’t want the business. The lowest was just too low and I couldn’t see how they could make any money and I really didn’t want to trust my entire house to some guys who were probably being paid less than minimum wage. That left two, who both did a proper survey and I chose ‘Moving Home Made Easy’ as their quote was reasonable, the surveyor who did the survey was very knowledgeable, offered good advice and easy easy to deal with. The whole ethos of ‘Moving Home Made Easy’ appears to be around customer service and I thought I would give them a go – especially as the personal contact and information given by David Reed the MD was second to none. The move went fine, the guys were great and took good care over the boxes (I packed myself with boxes provided by them and some I already had) and with furniture etc. Nothing was broken or damaged. All in all I would recommend ‘Moving Home Made Easy’ as they seemed to live up to their name.

Excellent customer service, very helpful, reliable and professional. Our home move could not have gone any better and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We were impressed! We contacted Moving Made Easy after being let down by one of the 'big national' removal companies. The removal companies were very busy during lockdown and our usual 'big national' removal company wasn't very accommodating or flexible (I thought it was part of the process that moving dates have to be flexible until all missives are signed!). They didn't seem to care. So we did some research on local companies and decided to give Moving Made Easy a try. The MD, David Reed, emailed us back promptly and also phoned us to arrange a date to visit and quote which he also did promptly. David was very personable, professional and accommodating. We arranged a full packing service for the day before the move and asked for most items to also be loaded the day before so that the rest could be done quickly on moving day. We also asked for a couple of hours to clean our new home before the vans were unloaded on moving day, which the guys were happy to do. Everything went to plan as asked! We were very impressed. The packing and moving team were friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and it made the whole process as stress free as possible. Customer service must be a priority with this company. And after the move the guys came back to collect boxes and packing materials on a couple of occasions when asked. The price was similar to the 'big national' companies which we initially questioned. But they were more accommodating and their service is as good if not better, so we're happy we gave this local Glasgow company a chance. They are expanding so will probably soon become one of the nationals soon. I just hope they keep their excellent customer service policy. We would definitely use them again.

Movers were prompt, friendly and professional and got the job done with no hassle for my mum who actually had a nice day and not the stressful day she was expecting with moving after 26 years. I am very happy and confident to recommend this company, 'Moving made Easy', Glasgow and would give them a score of 10/10 because my move went very smoothly, no hitches of any kind. They came on time and the men were polite, efficient, helpful and showed concern for my property. Nothing was a problem for them. I felt relaxed and confident throughout the whole process. Also their prices are fair, certainly not the most expensive quote I received.!
