My dad knew Michael Lewis for many years as my dad owned a print shop in the Woodhaven area back in the nineties. Sadly my dad passed away in March but he had told me many times about what a nice guy Mike Lewis was and to please make sure that Mike took care of his headstone when the time came. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to Mike and Helen for their help, guidance and compassion throughout this overwhelming process. I saw the headstone at the cemetery today for the first time, and it was magnificent. No attention to detail was left undone. Thank you Michael. Had an excellent experience with Michael Lewis. I was recommended from my funeral home. The monument I was looking for was a complicated process as a Chinese American for the passing of my mom. That's because there's often a number of items that needed to be put on the monument including origins and next of kin. That with the requirements of a very dark red stone with very white characters. It took time which was expected and many many conversations back and forth to get me at my final version. I can't tell you how happy my father was with the results. The time it took and the carefully thought out process got us exactly what we needed. This was a very complicated process and I appreciate both Michael and his assistant Helen for getting us to the finish line.
My mothers slanted marker looks nicer and bigger than expected. Very pleased.
