An amazing location with plenty of green spaces and tranquility and quite a few water bodies filled with wild birds - swans, geese, coots, moorhens, terns etc. Fabulous to get close and observe the local wildlife. Loads of park benches for a picnic with family and friends on a warm sunny day. And plenty of walking trails too.

Great range of water fowl & other birds. The cormorants & Herons are awesome to watch. A few negatives - disrespectful visitors leaving alot of rubbish around and the usual lazy dog walkers leaving poo bags hanging in trees.

Pleasantly surprised to find this walk. Easy parking on site. Great for dogs too, especially if they like getting wet. You can do a 5 mile circular walk or just a ramble around the lakes and watch the wildlife. Lots of seating dotted around. Easy, dry pathways or walk through the parkland. Visitor centre was closed due to Covid-19 which was a shame.
