Excellent food! Havent ordered from New World before, but the food was very delicious! I especially enjoyed the Chicken Balls, which wasnt just a ball of batter, but actually had a decent amount of chicken inside of it... loved those! The chicken in Black Bean sauce was also outstanding. I will definitely be placing an order with them again!

If you want a decent meal..order from here. No other chinese restaurant in Grays beats it. The salt and pepper squid is and the vermicelli chicken noodles is one of the best. They also make it spicy if you want to. I dont write reviews but ive been ordering from New World for years and i love it!!
Ordered food at 5.55 told 1 hour. At 7.20 called told 15 minutes. Called 35 minutes later told 5 mins it’s on the way. It’s a 2 min drive. 15 minutes later I am cooking dinner 8.10 I’m cooking dinner. Driver arrives told him I have cancelled. It’s not so much that they are busy but the girl lied 3 times. All she had to say was we are busy can you collect. Will not use them again, no respect for customers. One star is too much.
Probably the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever purchased. One of the Special Currys was all sauce with just a few bits of meat. Chips had obviously been cooked for ages and left as they had shriveled up. None of it was hot. This used to be a great Chinese takeaway. It is obvious the owners are now just mugging their customers off by serving rubbish food. I phoned the shop immediately it was delivered to complain but they girl on the phone just replied OK.
